Looking for Pre-Approved Home Loans?

Pre-approved home loans are something a lot of people desire. Do you fit the criteria for one? You might be closer than you think to qualifying for these low hassle mortgages. If you’re lucky enough to be an American citizen, and you’re a responsible citizen, chances are you may already be pre-approved. If not, these might be things you look at in your life.

Here are some things to look at in your life to determine if you might pre-qualify for a home loan. These are just generalities, but they’ll give you a good idea of the areas in your financial life that you’ll want to look at (or improve upon) to be eligible.

Income

This is a personal question to a lot of people, but your income is one of the things that will be looked at to see if you qualify for a pre-approved loan. Naturally, the higher your personal income (from all sources), the better chance you’ll be pre-approved for a home loan. If you’re looking for a pre-approved loan and there’s anything you can do to increase your income, it’s sure to increase your chances at pre-qualifying for a home loan.

Capital

Do you already own property? Is it land only or is there a house as well? Do you own any other big ticket items like a boat? How much is your net worth when including these items. Any capital you have will help put the lender’s mind at ease and may make you pre-approved for a loan with very little hassle. While Capital isn’t usually cash, it’s something that can easily be turned into cash and has a high value.

Credit

What is your credit rating like? The higher your credit score, the better. The higher your credit score, the more likely you are to be pre-approved for a home loan. With this in mind, you should always try to maintain a zero balance on your credit cards and pay all your other bills on time in full as well. This is just generally good advice, but it also helps if you want to be eligible for a pre-approved loan.

Even if you think all of the above are great in your life, you’ll still have to check with the lending institutions to see what they think. Their opinion on whether or not you should be pre-approved for a home loan is the one that counts.

Conclusions

Not everyone is capable of getting a pre-approved home loan, but if you watch the things above and try to improve on them, you’ll get closer and closer to that point in your life when you’re pre-approved for a home loan or other type of loan as well. It’s a long hard, road, but it’s one that definitely has its benefits.

You can also think of it this way - by putting yourself in a position financially to be pre-approved for a home loan, you’re also improving your life financially in general. So there’s added benefit to keeping in mind the points above.
